The Rabbit Fanciers are a very family orientated club. We enthusiastically support the 'Property/Pet classes' at our shows with everything from 'Fastest eater' to 'Fancy dress'-in this one you will surely behold some amazing costumes! 'Handling' is another class that is all in good fun and helpful, as the judge will take time to show everyone how to correctly handle their rabbit. All winners receive trophies and second and third placings receive certificates. We also have a very large and competitive breed class where you are able to see many different breeds and colour varieties. We judge mainly to the BRC standard and present encouragement awards to 'Breeds in development'.

Our primary objective is to educate the general public about responsible rabbit ownership. The Illawarra Rabbit Society Inc (IRS) was incorporated on the 12th of January 2009. The club was the idea of a lot of local breeders as well as all the pet friendly people wanting to get together with the same interests. Club members receive regular newsletters packed with tips regarding the care of rabbits. We keep all members up to date with information regarding diseases which will affect your rabbit.. We also will help rehome unwanted rabbits. We are a non-profit organization, providing free advice to the public seeking rabbit information.

The South Australian Rabbit Association was formed on the 9th of June 1999. Our main objectives are to promote pedigree breeds, pet rabbits and responsible ownership for the purpose of showing, displays and educational use. We assist and support our members in all aspects of showing and breeding as well as offer general help and information on the keeping of pet rabbits. The Association holds shows, seminars, social gatherings, and also informative rabbit meetings. The meetings (held on the fourth Wednesday of every month) include guest speakers, trading table, supper facilities plus much more. Attending meetings is the best way to keep up with the latest information on rabbits.

Everybunny welcome! Newly incorporated in April 2006, The SA Rabbit Fanciers Society Inc. aims to promote all aspects of our hobby in a friendly, family atmosphere. Our fancy is meant to be enjoyable, so we hope to keep our shows and displays fairly informal, yet encouraging competitive exhibition in a friendly way. Our young members are the future of the fancy, and must be encouraged. Based in the northern suburbs, we have operated informally for four years - exhibiting at Ag Shows, shop displays and attending local fetes. The committee come from all fields of rabbit keeping, and can redirect both members and the general public to appropriate information sources. On the serious side we aim to: Promote responsible breeding, exhibition and promotion of purebred domestic rabbits. Promote and assist in the continued schooling of aspiring judges and breeders under British Rabbit Council guidelines. E ducate the public and government (both local and national) as to issues affecting its members and non member breeders such as calicivirus and myxomatosis releases, disease control via vaccination and prevention, importing/exporting of stock, general animal welfare. Promote all aspects of keeping of rabbits, the rabbit fancy, industry and hobby as a whole, via education, exhibition, and participation and promotion of the rabbit fancy in the community.

National Netherland Dwarf Club
Our first AGM was held in April 1985 to promote and encourage the showing and breeding of Netherland Dwarf rabbits. The specialist club was established to cater for fanciers who have a committed and common interest in the 'gem of the fancy' breed.

The WARCI was established in 1986 and is the rabbit fancy governing body of Western Australia. Affiliated to us is The Hills Rabbit Club. First established in the late 1980's with the objective to advance the improvement and development of recognised breeds in accordance with BRC guidelines.
